Sales Director - Los Angeles

Reports to: VP of Western Region Sales

Responsibilities:

Revenue generation through targeted Media and Entertainment accounts in the Western U.S. The Sales Director will promote and represent Move services through the entire sales cycle including prospecting, product demonstrations, contract negotiations and deployments. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining executive and decision-maker relationships within target accounts, understanding customer needs and driving faster adoption of the Move Networks video delivery platform. The successful candidate will meet revenues and sales objectives by providing a value based solution to solve pressing customer problems. The Sales Director will work closely with sales engineering, professional services, and operations personnel within Move to determine the appropriate customer solution and oversee deployments.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years’ progressive business experience in media sales/marketing; specific new media experience a must
  • Understanding of and experience with entertainment related content (meta data, digital audio), search, recommendation, personalization, and media identification technologies
  • Extensive experience in online and offline media optimization
  • Experience in design and build of new media sales strategies and process
  • Experience in Media and Broadcast environments
