Senior Software Test Engineer (Reporting QA Lead)
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is for an experienced web developer with strong Flash, Actionscript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills. Primary responsibilities will include building test harnesses, around Javascript, Flash, and Silverlight SDKs. This position will also serve as a resource for supporting the test team by building custom web pages for supporting QA activities. Prior experience and/or understanding of software testing methodologies are preferred but not required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 2-5 years industry experience with Actionscipt 3, Flex, or Flash
- Flash remoting
- Experience with web based technologies (i.e. JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, and AJAX)
- Mastery of an OOP language a plus
- User interaction and information architecture experience a plus
- Good problem solving-abilities and ability to innovate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors Degree or higher (CS, EE, Math, Information Technology or other technical area preferred)
Language Skills:
- Strong SQL skills
- Object oriented programming (Python, Java, C++, Ruby, and etc)
- Advanced Scripting abilities (i.e. BASH, Perl, PHP, and etc)
Other Technical Skills:
- Advanced system administration skills for setting up and maintaining testing and staging environments
- Advanced Linux knowledge (Red Hat Enterprise, Debian, SUSE Enterprise, and etc)
