Systems Integrator Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:
Move Networks is seeking highly motivated individuals to join its Integration Team. These individuals must being self-driven, able to work with limited supervision and be passionate about defending product quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with the Product Management, Development and Quality Assurance teams starting with the Design Phase through Product Release to assure deployable products are delivered to Operations.
• Validate product releases in a staging environment in preparation to deploying them into production environments.
• Provide training to Operations on new features and functions.
• Work with Operations to deploy products into production systems.
• Function as a point of escalation for Operations regarding recently deployed systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 7+ years related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred (CS, EE, Math, Information Technology or other technical area preferred)
• Interpret functional requirement and design documents to develop, maintain, and execute test cases
• Ability to interpret release notes, test results, metrics, exit reports, and other needed information and provide recommendations based on those documents.
• Demonstrated experience producing technical documentation. Please bring examples.
• SQL skills as well as experience with database configurations and administration.
• Linux administration skills.
• Experience with network architectures including web servers, web caches, databases, storage area networks, clustered storage systems, routing, switching, firewalls and security, are highly preferred.
• Experience with BASH, Python, SQL scripting languages a plus.
• Knowledge of Web-based technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and etc.).
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, and Mac OS X.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated with good decision-making abilities.
• Strong logical and problem-solving skills.
