Channel Bee Selects Move Networks as Its Internet Television Services Provider

New British Internet Television Station to Broadcast 10 Days of Free Live Music Concerts in High Definition from Somerset House in London

American Fork, UT, July 9, 2008—Move Networks, a leading provider of Internet television services, today announced it has been chosen by Channel Bee, a new London-based Internet television station, to help broadcast a series of 10 live concerts in high definition via the Internet.

Launched on July 5th, Channel Bee was created by entertainment mogul Simon Fuller and British TV personality Tim Lovejoy. Channel Bee’s daily programming is anchored by Lovejoy and includes original comedy sketches, celebrity interviews, reality television programs and live music shows. The new Internet television channel is produced in conjunction with Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment.

Viral Channel Bee Online Video Clip Promotes the Benefits of No Buffering

Channel Bee’s partnership with Move Networks is a key differentiator for it in the Internet television market, as Lovejoy personally demonstrates in one of its viral online clips being used to promote the launch of Channel Bee.

The clip humorously displays how “real life doesn’t buffer,” and therefore, neither will Channel Bee’s programming. This and other viral online video clips promoting the new Internet television station can be viewed at www.channelbee.com.

“There are few things that ruin one’s Internet television viewing experience more than waiting for a program to stop buffering,” said Lovejoy, Channel Bee’s founder and president. “When we decided early on that we didn’t want our viewers to experience buffering as they watched our high-definition live music gigs, we found that only Move Networks possessed the expertise, experience and technology to make that happen.”

“Channel Bee’s selection of Move Networks demonstrates that both new and established media companies recognize the importance of providing their audiences with high-quality television viewing experiences.” said John Edwards, CEO of Move Networks. “And, just as Channel Bee is helping change the way people perceive what a ‘TV station’ is, so is Move Networks helping change the way people perceive what ‘Internet television’ is all about.”

Concert Series Schedule

The 10 sell-out concerts will be filmed live at London’s Somerset House, starting on Thursday, July 10, 2008. The Channel Bee team will broadcast performances from some of the UK’s favorite artists, including The Fratellis, Duffy and The Feeling, on www.channelbee.com/move/music/live.
