Move Networks Hires AT&T U-Verse Executive
Guy Beverlin Joins as Executive Vice President, Operations; Brings Record of Industry Success to Build Move’s World Class Operating Capabilities
October 12, 2009 — American Fork, UT – Move Networks, a global provider of comprehensive “television over the Internet” and IPTV solutions, announced today that it has appointed Guy Beverlin to the position of Executive Vice President, Operations. Beverlin, who has a proven record of designing and building world class operations centers of excellence, will lead the continued build out of Move’s network and operations capabilities.

Beverlin brings to Move Networks more than 15 years of experience directing large, technologically advanced broadcast and entertainment platforms. Most recently, Beverlin served as Assistant Vice President of AT&T’s U-Verse Operations, where he was responsible for bringing multichannel, IP based video operations to the company. Beverlin operated all aspects of the content delivery system including video content acquisition, commercial insertion, the IPTV platform, and core network and hub offices across the country.
Prior to joining AT&T, Guy served as Vice President and General Manager at DIRECTV’s world class Los Angeles Broadcast Center. Guy’s leadership was instrumental in developing and managing the broadcast and production infrastructure that enabled DIRECTV’s success—growing it from 30 to over 700 channels while increasing customer satisfaction through the launch of high definition, international and interactive services.
Beverlin holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and has a B.S. in Physical Science from Central Michigan University. He is a long time member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.
