Move Networks to Host More Than 400 Live Events in October, More Than 500 Planned for November

Company’s Technology and Operations Expertise Enable Delivery of 105 High-Quality Live Internet Television Programming Events in a Single Weekend

October 14, 2008—American Fork, UTMove Networks (www.movenetworks.com), the leading provider of Internet Television services, today announced that it will support and deliver more than 400 live Internet television events in the month of October.

The company also announced that in a single recent weekend, starting October 3rd and ending October 6th, Move delivered a record 105 live events to Internet television viewers in 192 countries. Over this same time period more than three million hours of high-quality live and on-demand Internet Television programming were delivered, and with average viewing times of 81 minutes per viewer, an all-time high.

The programming Move Networks delivered during this extended weekend included dozens of live college and professional sporting events on sites like ESPN360, along with the primetime season premieres of programs on Fox, ABC and the CW’s Web sites.

“Live events on television have always brought viewers into the action. Providing Internet audiences with a similar, high-quality live television experience gives viewers a new way to access event programming, and helps broadcasters increase overall viewership,” said John Edwards, CEO of Move Networks.  “Delivering Internet television is a technical challenge for those who lack the operational expertise, technology and infrastructure. Our services and technologies allow media companies and other producers of live events to broadcast on the Internet and supplement their existing over-the-air, cable and satellite distribution capabilities without having to make large capital investments or scale up their own operations.”

Move Networks has delivered some of the Internet’s largest live events this year. A sampling of those live events, many of which were produced in High Definition, include:

-       Sporting events, such as NCAA Division I college football, professional basketball and football, international soccer, golf, and professional boxing events

-       The Democratic National Convention, which was recognized as the most watched convention ever, and the current 2008 US Presidential debates
